Fees depend on the service and the length of the visit. When a price is published in our booking system it appears in the table below. If a cell says to call, ask reception at (403) 764-7020 or confirm the amount when you book. Extended health, WCB, and MVA claims can change what you pay on the day.
Dry needling, often searched as IMS, is not a separate add-on fee when it is used during a physiotherapy visit. Ultrasound, taping, and electrical stimulation are also part of that visit when they help, not extra line items at the desk.
Physiotherapy
First visits are assessments. Follow-ups are shorter treatment sessions.

How much does physiotherapy cost in Calgary?
Private physiotherapy is billed per visit. Assessments are longer than follow-ups. See the table on this page for published fees, or call (403) 764-7020. WCB and many MVA visits are billed to the claim instead of the same private rate.
Is dry needling or IMS extra?
No. When IMS or dry needling is appropriate, it is included in the physiotherapy visit. We will tell you before we use it.
Do you direct bill?
Yes, for eligible Alberta extended health plans. Coverage and referral rules vary. Ask reception which insurers we can bill this month, and bring your policy details.
